Research Fellow in the Soundability Lab: A postdoctoral position is now available in the Soundability Lab at the Human-Centered Computing Laboratory, Computer Science and Engineering Department, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Under the supervision of Dr. Dhruv Jain, the postdoctoral researcher will engage in research focused on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and accessibility topics.

Eligibility/Qualification

  • Candidates must possess (or expect to receive by the date of hire) a doctoral degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • A demonstrated interest in HCI and accessibility is required.
  • A basic working knowledge of AI and machine learning is preferred.

Job Description

As a postdoctoral researcher, the candidate will:

  • Conduct basic and applied research.
  • Organize and publish research findings.
  • Provide technical guidance on projects for both graduate and undergraduate students.
  • Assist in writing new research proposals.
