Eligibility/Qualification
- An undergraduate degree in chemistry or a closely related discipline.
- A PhD in organic chemistry (obtained or close to completion).
- Experience in asymmetric/enantioselective synthesis and synthetic method development.
- Proficiency in characterising complex molecules using techniques such as NMR spectroscopy.
- Ability to work effectively in a research team and manage project development.
Job Description
The successful applicant will:
- Design, synthesize, and characterize new classes of artificial oligomers.
- Conduct detailed structural and conformational characterization.
- Write research and review articles.
- Supervise junior lab members.
- Exhibit a strong publication record and effective communication skills.
Additional Desirable Experience
- Research in foldamer chemistry or atroposelective synthesis.
- Experience with advanced NMR methods.
- Proven track record in preparing funding applications.
