Job Description: The Research Fellow will work within an international group of structural biologists, focusing on investigating intrinsically-disordered protein elements and their role in molecular function regulation. The position offers unique access to state-of-the-art structural biology instrumentation, including biomolecular NMR spectrometers, a cryo-electron microscope, and synchrotron facilities. The role involves contributing to research grants and projects, writing bids for research funding, analyzing data, disseminating research findings, and supervising students.
Person Specification:
- First degree in a relevant field (Biophysics/Biochemistry/Chemistry/Chemical Biology/Structural Biology or related areas).
- Higher degree (Ph.D.) in a related field.
- High-level analytical capability.
- Clear communication of complex information.
- Fluency in relevant models, techniques, or methods.
- Ability to contribute to the development of new methods.
- Understanding of broader management/administration processes.
