Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s Degree in Bioengineering, Biological Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent
- Enrollment in the first year of a PhD program in the area of Chemical and Biological Engineering, Biomedical Engineering is preferred
- Knowledge in microbiology and bacteriophages
Job Description
The successful candidate will work on the R&D project, BioFago: Novas estratégias no controlo do Fogo Bacteriano, at the Centre of Biological Engineering of University of Minho. The research focus will be on isolating bacteriophages and enhancing their antibacterial properties through various biological, genomics, and molecular biology techniques.
