Job Description
Post-Doctoral Positions
Postdoctoral researchers will lead cutting-edge projects focused on novel electrocatalyst development, advanced structural/microscopic characterization, and high-performance fuel cell evaluation. Candidates are expected to have a strong background in materials chemistry, chemical engineering, or electrochemistry.
Ph.D. Candidates
Ph.D. projects involve the rational design, advanced characterization, and electrocatalytic testing of nanostructured materials. Researchers will bridge the gap between atomic-scale catalyst engineering and practical applications.
Masters / Internships
M.Sc. research and undergraduate internships focus on hands-on wet chemical synthesis, shape control, and physical/structural characterization of functional nanomaterials. Advanced M.Sc. students will also evaluate materials via electrochemical testing using Rotating Disk Electrode (RDE) setups.
Eligibility/Qualification
- Post-Doc: Ph.D. in a relevant field with experience in electrochemistry or materials characterization.
- Ph.D. Candidates: Must hold an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related fields.
- M.Sc./Interns: Background in Chemistry or Engineering with an interest in wet chemical synthesis and nanomaterials.
What We Offer
- A full research path: nanoparticle synthesis, TEM, XRD, ICP characterization, and fuel-cell testing.
- Close, hands-on supervision in a growing research group.
- Opportunities for international research stays and conference presentations.
- Collaborations with leading research groups in Israel and Europe.
How to Apply
Interested candidates should send their CV, academic transcripts, and a brief cover letter outlining their research interests to Dr. Shlomi Polani at shlomip@ariel.ac.il. Post-doctoral applicants should also include a research statement and contact details for references. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online interview and a lab visit.
