Eligibility/Qualification:
- Research Scientist:
- Doctoral degree with more than 5 years of experience.
- Expertise in Bayesian Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Optimization, Active Learning, Continual Learning/Lifelong Learning.
- Proactive, cooperative, flexible, and good communication skills.
- Postdoctoral Researcher:
- Ph.D. or expect to receive a Ph.D. before the date of employment.
- Published research in machine-learning conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, AISTATS, UAI, ICLR, etc.).
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Bayesian Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Optimization, Active Learning, Continual Learning/Lifelong Learning.
- Proactive, cooperative, flexible, and good communication skills.
Job Description:
Research Scientist or Postdoctoral Researcher – RIKEN Center for Advanced Intelligence Project
The candidate will work on the CREST-ANR project titled “A new Bayes-duality principle for adaptive, robust, and lifelong learning of AI”. Responsibilities include conducting research, publishing findings in top machine-learning conferences, assisting in group management, and supervising internship students and technical staff.
