Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Immunology or Virology
- Knowledge of host defenses or molecular virology.
- Ability to work in a confined environment (BSL3) and to handle viruses and mosquitoes in this environment.
- English language proficiency at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
- Autonomy and ability to critique/analyze one’s own work and that of colleagues.
- Ability to supervise interns and students.
Job Description:
- Mosquito handling, virus microinjection, saliva collection.
- Single-cell transcriptomic analysis (scRNA-seq), quantitative PCR, and bioinformatic analyses.
- Analysis of infected human tissue: flow cytometry, immunofluorescence.
- Cell biology: Dissociation of human skin tissue, maintenance of primary cells in culture and management of their stocks, reconstruction of human skin in three-dimensional culture.
- Production and titration of viral stocks.
