DESIGNATION: Researcher
RESEARCH AREA: Electrochemical energy storage (EES)
LOCATION: Europe, with the position based at CIC energiGUNE’s facilities.
ELIGIBILITY/QUALIFICATION:
- PhD in Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related fields.
- Proficiency in advanced characterization and analytical techniques.
- Prior experience in battery research.
- Strong English communication skills; Spanish or Basque proficiency beneficial.
- Collaborative mindset and motivation for industry technology transfer.
- Preferred knowledge of safety protocols.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Define and develop novel formulations for advanced electrode materials.
- Scale up cathode material processing from lab to pilot line.
- Produce pilot-scale cathode materials and perform characterization using various techniques.
- Validate materials electrochemically.
- Contribute to intellectual property development for industrialization.
