Eligibility/Qualification

  • Education: PhD in Materials Chemistry or a related field.
  • Experience: Indifferent; however, a strong background in materials chemistry and organic synthesis is preferred. Proficiency in molecular characterization techniques (NMR, FT-IR) is essential.

Job Description

The researcher will focus on:

  • Designing and synthesizing carbon nanotubes functionalized with fluorescent peptides.
  • Characterizing conjugates using various spectroscopic and microscopic techniques and thermogravimetric analysis.
  • Collaborating with two laboratories in Montpellier to optimize nanobiosensors.
  • Conducting ex vivo and in vivo studies using pancreatic cancer models.
  • Contributing to the identification of kinase biomarkers for cancer diagnostics.
