Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. obtained within the last seven years.
- Prior employment in the same field should be less than five years.
- A Ph.D. in experimental atomic physics or related field is desirable but not required.
- Strong communication skills in English are essential; Japanese proficiency is a plus.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will:
- Lead the research project, developing and operating optical lattice clocks and optical tweezers clocks utilizing the 431 nm transition.
- Analyze and interpret data from frequency comparisons with optical lattice clocks using the 578 nm transition.
- Explore theoretical aspects related to ultralight dark matter and the drift of the fine structure constant.
- Collaborate with the principal investigator and contribute to all facets of the research process.
