Eligibility/Qualification
- Education: PhD in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a closely related field.
- Experience and Skills:
- Strong background in wireless communications and networking.
- Knowledge of random-access protocols (e.g., IEEE 802.11 family).
- Familiarity with machine learning applications in communications.
- Experience in network simulation and modeling tools (e.g., ns-3, OMNeT++, MATLAB, Python).
- Practical experience in prototyping or testbed experimentation is an advantage.
Job Description
As a postdoctoral researcher, you will:
- Conduct advanced research on next-generation wireless networks focusing on high-performance communication over unlicensed spectrum.
- Design and evaluate adaptive Medium Access Control (MAC) and network-layer protocols.
- Develop AI-driven methods for real-time interference prediction and adaptive network behavior.
- Explore multi-technology integration of emerging wireless systems to support ultra-reliable, low-latency, and massive IoT services.
- Publish results in high-impact journals and conferences.
- Contribute to collaborative research activities and support new project proposals.
- Demonstrate developed solutions in real or simulated industrial scenarios.
