Job Description:
- Independently drive a project to develop next-generation models of inflamed mucosal tissues, focusing on inflammatory bowel disease
- Utilize primary human samples, organoids, tissue-resident immune cells, and microfabrication technology to recreate the cellular environment of the diseased intestine
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance in vitro models’ ability to recapitulate inflammatory disease and understand underlying molecular mechanisms
- Generate high-quality results for publication in peer-reviewed journals
