Science Postdoctoral Fellowship: The University of Pennsylvania, in collaboration with The Nature Conservancy, invites applications for the Sustainability and Conservation Science Postdoctoral Fellowship. This fellowship program seeks to bridge academic excellence at Penn with conservation practice at TNC to address climate change and cultivate a new generation of sustainability and conservation leaders.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Outstanding, early-career scientists or engineers.
- Completed Ph.D. requirements by the fellowship start date.
- Ph.D. awarded no longer than three years before the application deadline.
Job Description: The program aims to invest in the talent potential of new climate change leaders, recruit scientists with diverse backgrounds, support innovative and impact-oriented research, and provide access to real-world conservation professionals. Fellows will work on various projects, including soil microbes/tree ecosystems, 3D printing of artificial coral, impacts of mineral mining, interventions for reducing mining’s environmental impact, agriculture-based soil carbon sequestration, and international research for climate adaptation.
The fellowship includes a $65,000 stipend, benefits, a $10,000 research fund, up to $2,000 for professional travel, and a one-time relocation reimbursement of up to $2,000. The duration is one year, with a possibility of extension up to two years.
