Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Completed scientific university degree in Biology, Medicine, Bioinformatics, Data Science, or related disciplines
  • Preferably a Ph.D. degree
  • Proficiency in data management with a focus on open-source solutions
  • Strong communication skills and a keen interest in research data management
  • Familiarity with tools like OMERO, eLabFTW, Dataverse, Git, and data archiving
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Willingness to travel

Job Description:

  • Manage research data within the SFB 1430 project, focusing on technical and organizational aspects utilizing various data management tools
  • Provide guidance and support to researchers in data management processes
  • Develop and implement data management workflows
  • Promote sustainable data management practices and repository data submission
  • Oversee electronic laboratory journals, microscopy data platforms, and central data repositories
  • Conduct training sessions, project management, documentation, and publications
  • Engage with the FDM community and National Research Data Infrastructure
