Eligibility/Qualification
- A completed degree in a scientific or mathematical field (e.g., Biology, Ecology, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science).
- Experience in ecological issues, specifically concerning insect decline or species distribution modeling is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as R or Python.
- Familiarity with statistical methods, machine learning, deep learning, and AI is advantageous.
- Proficiency in the English language.
Job Description
- Develop and implement AI-based (Deep Learning) models to predict insect population dynamics in Bavaria.
- Contribute to scientific publications and research outputs.
- Engage in a structured graduate program (RIGeL) facilitating the doctoral process.
