Location: Potsdam, Germany

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • MSc or PhD in Geosciences, Soil Sciences, Geoecology, or related disciplines with a strong background in remote sensing and imaging spectroscopy.
  • Experience in hyperspectral remote sensing data analysis and scientific publication writing.
  • Proficiency in proposal writing and project coordination.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with national and international colleagues.
  • Fluency in spoken and written German is essential.

Job Description: As a Scientist Hyperspectral Remote Sensing, your responsibilities will include conducting research on EnMAP data application in geosciences, processing and analyzing hyperspectral images, supporting project coordination, developing the scientific program of the EnMAP mission, publication and presentation of research findings, education and training initiatives, outreach and public relations activities, and collaboration with national and international partners.
