Research Area

Eligibility/Qualification
- Completed Ph.D. in Plant Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or Genetics
- Experience with tomato plants, including tissue culture
- Proficient in cloning and assays for analyzing transcriptional regulation and protein–protein interactions
- Experience with confocal microscopy for protein localization and stress responses
- Very good knowledge of English (oral and written)
- High degree of responsibility, accuracy, and ability to prioritize
- Willingness to integrate into an international working environment
Job Description
- Analyze gene expression dynamics in response to temperature changes
- Identify transcriptional regulatory networks involved in heat stress responses
- Generate CRISPR mutants in tomato plants
- Supervise Bachelor’s and Master’s students
- Write scientific publications and present results to an international audience
