  • Good knowledge of inorganic chemistry, heterogeneous catalysis, and electrochemistry

Job Description:

The successful candidate will:

  • Independently perform X-ray spectroscopic measurements on active catalyst surfaces in gas phases and liquids.
  • Further develop reaction cells for operando investigations of heterogeneous catalytic and electrochemical processes.
  • Conduct XPS and XAS measurements under various reaction conditions.
  • Provide guidance to doctoral students and engineers.
  • Prepare publications and present results at international meetings.
  • Collaborate with users for experiment planning, data analysis, and publication support.
