Job Description:
SEDarc Doctoral Training Partnership studentships offer a 3.5-year duration covering PhD fees and a maintenance stipend at the UKRI rate. Some awards include a further year of funding for a Master’s degree. Successful candidates may undertake a 3-month placement with an associated £1000 travel fund. The scholarship aligns with five cross-disciplinary themes spanning the social sciences.

- Prepare a draft SEDarc application.
- Complete a SEDarc application form in addition to the standard PhD application via the RISIS portal. Template provided upon contact with academics in the chosen School or Department.

Application deadline is 12 January 2024. Applicants must have applied to a PhD program at Reading via RISIS and completed a draft SEDarc proposal by this time. Completion of the expression of interest form by early December 2023 is strongly recommended.
