- Eligibility/Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent
- PhD in Astronomy or equivalent
- Experience in research activities, knowledge in astrophysics and data analysis, and ability to communicate in English.
- Job Description:
- Coordinate the monitoring of targets for radial velocities and transits using photometry and high-resolution spectroscopy.
- Perform data reduction and analysis.
- Statistically model transmission spectroscopy measurements from planetary transits.
- Supervise PhD students and undergraduates.
- Prepare scientific papers and present research results at conferences.
