Senior Postdoctoral Research Associate: The Department of Paediatrics, Berrens Group, Institute of Developmental & Regenerative Medicine IDRM at Old Road Campus, Oxford, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Postdoctoral Research Associate. This exciting opportunity involves contributing to the understanding of the role of Transposable elements in cell fate decisions. The role includes developing and running a project to create novel tools for investigating locus-specific transposable element expression using mouse embryonic stem cells with advanced CRISPR-based targeting technologies.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- DPhil Degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or Genetics
- Post-qualification experience in molecular and cellular biology, with a focus on gene regulation and epigenetics
- Research skills with the ability to manage independent projects
- Supervision skills to support the Berrens lab and DPhil students
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a demanding research environment
