  • PhD/DPhil in Clinical Medicine or Biomedical Research
  • Previous research experience in a relevant field
  • Experience in solving quantitative problems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for presenting research results
  • Experience with biomedical data is highly desirable

Job Description

As a Senior Postdoctoral Research Scientist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and coordinating research on malaria chemoprevention in partnership with Malaria Consortium.
  • Coordinating with key stakeholders for timely sharing of data related to malaria chemoprevention studies.
  • Determining research questions answerable from available data.
  • Advising and collaborating with PhD students and other staff at IDDO on a daily basis.
  • Contributing to grant applications for funding and producing scientific reports/publications for high-profile journals.
  • Conducting detailed analysis of available datasets.

This position is offered full-time on a fixed-term contract until 31 December 2027 and is funded by the Malaria Consortium.
