Eligibility/Qualification
Mandatory Qualifications
- Academic background in physics, engineering, or a related field
- Successful completion of a PhD
- Profound practical and theoretical expertise in OPM-MEG
- Excellent programming and computational/statistical skills (e.g., generative modeling, machine learning)
- Excellent writing, communication, and time management skills
- Interest in working in a highly interdisciplinary environment
- Collaborative spirit and team player attitude
- Proficient in English
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with programming languages Julia and Matlab
- Development of open-source software
- Familiarity with neuroimaging analysis packages like SPM and/or FieldTrip
Job Description
The successful candidate will conduct theoretical and experimental research aligned with TNU’s research agenda. Responsibilities include:
- Developing and validating novel OPM-MEG methods
- Focusing on motion robustness, naturalistic paradigms, and integration with VR/AR
- Contributing to the supervision of PhD and MSc students
- Engaging in teaching activities
The position is initially funded for one year, with potential for extension, and the ideal start date is December 1, 2025 (negotiable).
