Senior Research Associate – Bioinformatician: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Research Associate in Bioinformatics to join the Cancer Genetics team at the Norwich Medical School. This role focuses on a Prostate Cancer UK funded project aimed at identifying aggressive prostate cancer subtypes from urine samples.

Eligibility/Qualification
- Postgraduate level qualification or equivalent in a relevant field (numeric biological subject, computer science, or relevant experience in bioinformatics).
- Experience in independent research with publications in reputable journals.
- Proficiency in programming, bioinformatics analyses, and/or machine learning techniques.
- Experience managing large datasets and familiarity with clinical statistics is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Job Description
As a Senior Research Associate, you will:
- Lead the bioinformatics and data analysis aspects of the prostate cancer project.
- Analyze and interpret data, contributing to research ideas and writing up results.
- Present research progress and outcomes to stakeholders, potentially contributing to grant applications.
- Supervise researchers and teach students within the Norwich Medical School.
- Work collaboratively in a dynamic and results-driven environment.
