Eligibility/Qualification
- A PhD in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or a related field.
- Experience in trypanosome cell biology, quantitative proteomics, or molecular biology is preferred.
- Competency in cell culture techniques and data analysis.
- Hands-on experience with animal models, specifically in handling mice and conducting infection studies.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Job Description
The successful candidate will engage in the following responsibilities:
- Collecting and analyzing data from genetic and proteomic assays.
- Coordinating experiments on the neddylation machinery in T. brucei.
- Designing and implementing experimental protocols using cell culture and molecular biology techniques.
- Mapping and classifying regulatory mechanisms in the differentiation process.
- Writing research findings for publication and conference presentations.
- Assisting in disseminating project outcomes to key stakeholders.
- Maintaining ethical and quality standards throughout the study.
