Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Physics
- At least five years of post-doctoral experience in theoretical solid-state physics, evidenced by publications
- Proven expertise in electronic structure calculations in semiconductor nanostructures and their application to spin qubit implementation
- Proficiency in English and Italian (for non-native Italian candidates)
Job Description:
The selected candidate will engage in the modeling of spin qubits using the envelop function approach in silicon and/or germanium-based nanostructures. This will involve simulation of spin qubits in semiconductor nanostructures and contribute to the NQSTI project. The role demands high competence in theoretical solid-state physics and extensive experience in electronic structure calculations within semiconductor nanostructures.
