Senior Research Fellow in UK: The Department of Neurodegenerative Disease at the School of Life & Medical Sciences, University College London, is seeking a Senior Research Fellow to lead a Medical Research Council (MRC) Nucleic Acid Therapy Accelerator (NATA) project focused on investigating neurodegenerative diseases, specifically Alzheimer’s disease. Job Description: The Senior Research Fellow will lead the day-to-day operations of the MRC NATA project within the research group of Professor Selina Wray. The role involves designing and implementing scientific strategies for the development of antisense oligonucleotide (ASOs) and siRNA, as well as driving the project forward. This position requires independent work, presentation of research findings at national and international meetings, and the establishment of new collaborations to meet the project’s scientific goals. The post is initially funded until October 31, 2025.
