Job Description: As a Senior Scientist – Post Doctoral Researcher, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting independent academic research on ethical dilemmas of migration policy.
- Collaborating within the “Dilemmas” project, contributing to project publications and organizing workshops.
- Preparing and submitting a research proposal for external funding.
- Publishing research findings in international, peer-reviewed journals.
- Engaging in international research collaboration.
- Contributing to departmental research and teaching activities.
Your Profile: We require evidence of the following qualifications:
- Completed PhD in political sciences, economics, sociology, geography, population studies, or a related discipline.
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Previous experience and proven interest in migration studies.
- Excellent writing and English language skills (minimum C1 level).
- Desirable: Interest in political theory of migration and migration ethics; experience in acquiring third-party funds.
Your Perspective: This position can be taken up full-time (40 hrs/week) for 1.5 years or part-time (30 hrs/week) for 2 years, with a competitive salary starting at EUR 4,752.30 gross per month (full-time basis). Benefits include:
