Job Description
The selected postdoctoral researcher will:
- Conduct advanced research in condensed matter physics
- Collaborate with faculty members within the Condensed Matter Physics group
- Contribute to ongoing projects in areas such as:
- Topological phases of matter
- Strongly correlated electron systems
- Quantum transport and superconductivity
- Driven and non-equilibrium quantum systems
- Engage in interdisciplinary research across three main research lines:
1. Quantum Technologies and Devices
- Superconducting qubits, circuit QED, and quantum thermodynamics
- Photonic/phononic cavities and Floquet engineering
- Quantum transport and thermoelectricity
2. Quantum Materials and Strong Correlations
- Strongly correlated systems and emergent quantum phenomena
- Topological materials, Weyl semimetals, and magnetic systems
- Computational approaches including DFT
3. Statistical Physics and Disordered Systems
- Non-equilibrium dynamics and glassy systems
- Depinning, yielding, and avalanche phenomena
- Applications in geophysics and soft matter
