How to Apply

  1. Complete the Online Application: Submit an online application at Study@SJTU before the application deadline.
  2. Select Scholarship Option: Choose your scholarship during the online application process.
  3. Documents Preparation:
  • Degree Certificates
  • Transcripts
  • Proof of Language Proficiency
  • Passport-sized Photo
  • Personal Statement and Study Plan
  • Two Letters of Academic Recommendation
  • Any additional program-specific requirements (i.e., supervisor contact for certain programs).
  1. Application Fee: Pay a non-refundable application fee of RMB 800 (approximately USD 120).

Last Date to Apply

  • December 15, 2024: Deadline for 1st Round of Chinese Government Scholarship applications.
  • February 15, 2025: Deadline for the 2nd Round of Chinese Government Scholarship applications.
  • March 31, 2025: Deadline for applications for SJTU Scholarship and other self-supported applications.
