Job Description:

SNF Postdoctoral Researcher in Soil Microbial Dynamics (21396)

The successful candidate will lead research on the role of microbes in the formation of persistent soil carbon. This includes investigating how soil microhabitat characteristics and microbial traits interact to control carbon fate and persistence. The candidate will manipulate synthetic microbial communities, track carbon dynamics using advanced techniques, and collaborate within the framework of the Swiss National Center for Competence in Research Microbiomes. The position offers opportunities for collaboration, training, and contributions to cutting-edge research in soil microbial dynamics.

How to Apply: Submit your full application by 31.01.2024 through the university’s website. Include the following documents in Word or PDF format:

  1. Motivation letter
  2. Curriculum Vitae
  3. Copy of university degrees certificates and transcripts of marks/grades awarded
