Designation:

Research Area:

  • Gene regulation during intermittent fasting in the liver

Location:

  • Rehovot campus, Hebrew University

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in life science (biological sciences, molecular biology, genetics, endocrinology, or related field)
  • Proficiency in mouse work and molecular biology techniques
  • Preferred: Experience in liver biology, metabolism, epigenetics, and/or genomics-oriented computational biology

Job Description:

  • Leading research projects
  • Overseeing and advising general progress of lab projects
  • Staff scientist position is in the rank of senior academic staff (192 “Tax 730) looking for PhD
  • Candidates are not expected to perform administrative or teaching tasks; the job is 100% science-focused
  • Option for long-term employment
