Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in a relevant field
- Relevant experience in preparative isolation of complex natural products, peptides, or small molecules
- Proficiency in establishing and maintaining chromatography and mass spectrometry equipment
- Experience in NMR-based structure elucidation of small molecules is highly desired
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment
Job Description:
- Operate preparative and semipreparative HPLC/MS, Flash, SFC, and size exclusion chromatography systems.
- Isolate pure compounds for NMR-based structure elucidation and conduct subsequent bioactivity and enzymatic tests.
- Collaborate closely with various labs from Marburg and the Max Planck Society to support and develop research projects.
- Contribute to the ongoing establishment of the core facility for small molecule isolation and structure elucidation.
