Research Area

Eligibility/Qualification
To be eligible for this studentship, applicants must:
- Hold a minimum first-class or 2:1 Bachelor’s degree, or an MSc with merit in a relevant subject area.
- For non-native English speakers, an English language qualification equivalent to IELTS 6.5 is required; a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an English-speaking university is also accepted.
- Meet residency requirements to be classified as home students, which include being a UK national, having settled status, pre-settled status or indefinite leave to remain in the UK.

The SUSTAIN PhD program offers a unique opportunity for students to pursue in-depth research driven by industry needs in AI and related fields.
