Synthetic Methodologies Research Associate: We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Research Associate to work on an exciting project focused on developing new photoredox synthetic methodologies for transforming fine chemicals into complex organic matter. The research will be carried out at the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) under the supervision of Dr. Julio Loret. The project aims to explore low-valent early metal complexes in electro(photol)catalysis to enable C-C and C-N bond formation from challenging feedstocks. This work will open new avenues for complex organic transformations using abundant feedstocks.

Job Description: As a Research Associate, you will be involved in:
- Conducting research on developing new synthetic methodologies using photoredox catalysis.
- Investigating C-C and C-N bond formation from challenging feedstocks.
- Utilizing high throughput screening and mechanistic studies to explore low-valent early metal complexes in electro(photol)catalysis.
- Participating in the ICIQ Ph.D. program, which includes training in technical and soft skills, scientific seminars, hands-on training with state-of-the-art scientific instrumentation, project management, entrepreneurship, IP and knowledge and technology transfer, grant applications, communication skills, and career development.
