Taiwan ICDF International Scholarship: The TaiwanICDF International Higher Education Scholarship Program 2026 offers fully funded opportunities for international students to pursue Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. degrees at leading partner universities in Taiwan. The program aims to support human resource development, promote sustainable growth in partner countries, and provide high-quality education conducted entirely in English across diverse academic disciplines.

    (Total: 32 programs available for 2026 across multiple universities)

Location
Partner Universities across Taiwan (Republic of China)
(Some selected programs may include partial online components)


Eligibility / Qualification
Applicants must:

  • Be a citizen of a country eligible for the TaiwanICDF Scholarship
  • Not be a national of the Republic of China (Taiwan)
  • Meet admission requirements of the selected TaiwanICDF partner university
  • Be eligible for a Taiwan Resident Visa (FS) and Alien Resident Certificate (ARC)
  • Not hold any other Taiwan government-sponsored scholarship concurrently
  • Have completed or be able to provide the highest-level diploma by July 31, 2026
  • Have no prior scholarship revocation or expulsion record from Taiwanese institutions

Note: Bachelor’s programs are only open to applicants from countries with diplomatic relations with Taiwan.


Job Description / Scholarship Benefits
Selected scholars will receive a fully funded scholarship, including:

  • Round-trip economy-class airfare
  • On-campus student dormitory accommodation
  • Full tuition and credit fees
  • Mandatory insurance coverage
  • Approved textbook costs
  • Monthly living allowance:
    • Bachelor’s: NT$15,000/month
    • Master’s: NT$18,000/month
    • Ph.D.: NT$20,000/month

Scholars are expected to pursue academic excellence and contribute to the development of their home countries after graduation.


How to Apply

  1. Complete the online application via the TaiwanICDF Scholarship Application System
  2. Apply separately to one selected program at a TaiwanICDF partner university
  3. Submit required documents to the ROC (Taiwan) Embassy/Representative Office if required
  4. Applications undergo first and second reviews by embassies and partner universities
  5. Final results are announced by TaiwanICDF, and acceptance letters are issued through embassies
