Eligibility/Qualification–

| Temporary Faculty in the Dept. of CSE & ECE & ₹70,000 per month | PhD with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades etc.) at the preceding degree in the relevant branch of Engineering, with a very good academic record throughout. | None | None | One publication in an SCI Journal |
Candidates with less than or equal to 35 years age shall be preferred. However, maximum age limit is 60 years.
Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited from academic personnel/professionals from Academic Institutes, R&D Labs and Industry in India or abroad for the Post of Temporary Faculty in IIIT Ranchi on temporary basis initially for one semester, which may be extended on semester to semester basis on recommendation of the HOD.
Maximum duration of appointment in the entire career of a person shall be limited to five semesters with a consolidated emolument of ₹70,000/- per month for effective teaching and commitment to enhance the research activities in the Department.
How to Apply-
Eligible candidate may appear at the walk-in-interview with duly filled in application form along with all certificates in originals with one sets of photocopies. The prescribed application form is available on the Institute website.
Eligible candidates have to report for walk-in-interview at IIIT Ranchi, ARTTC BSNL Campus, Getlatu, Near Jumar River Bridge, P.O.: Neori Vikas Vidyalaya SO, Hazaribagh Road, Ranchi -835217 (Jharkhand).
The scanned copy of the filled application form may also be sent by email to establishment@iiitranchi.ac.in . The last date of sending scanned copy of filled application forms by email is 7/07/2024.
Candidates who had appeared in the interviews conducted by IIIT Ranchi two times earlier and not selected by IIIT Ranchi are requested not to appear at the walk-in-interview.
