Job Description:
The successful candidates will develop a research program focused on uncovering the molecular bases of Mendelian and complex diseases. Areas of interest include:
- Comprehensive interpretation of sequence variation in telomere-to-telomere genomes.
- Population genetic inference of sequence variation.
- New approaches for studying the functional impact of genetic variation.
- Genetic mechanisms of human diseases.
Candidates are expected to establish an independent research program supported by external funding. The CHGG offers access to a large and diverse patient population and extensive core facilities for genomics and bioinformatics.
