Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD in Material Science, Physics, or Chemical Engineering/Chemistry within the past 3 years.
- Detailed understanding of modeling of bulk battery materials properties and/or molecular dynamics at interfaces, such as electrolytes and electrochemistry.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will have experience with:
- Density Functional Theory and its applications to bulk materials or heterogeneous catalysis.
- Battery redox processes, SEI, and bulk electrolytes.
- Using machine learning (ML) tools and classical or ab-initio molecular dynamics.
- Proficiency in mid- to high-level Python programming, particularly with Pymatgen and ASE.
