Research Area

  • Primary Focus: Healthcare and Agricultural applications.
  • Core Tasks: Designing and executing Translational Research protocols, laboratory experiments, field trials, validation studies, and intellectual property/commercialization management.

Location

  • C-CAMP, Bangalore (Bengaluru), India (with occasional travel as per project requirements).

Eligibility & Qualification

  • Education: Ph.D. in any discipline of Life-sciences, Engineering, or Agriculture (with inter-disciplinary work in life-science or agriculture where relevant).
  • Thesis Status: Exceptional candidates who have submitted their thesis towards the grant of a Ph.D. will be considered for the Post-Doctoral positions.
  • Fellowships: Preference will be given to candidates holding National Level fellowship certificates (e.g., CSIR-JRF, UGC-JRF, GATE, DBT-JRF, ICMR-JRF, etc.).
  • Desired Skills:
    • A strong track record of publications or patents.
    • Demonstrable understanding of Intellectual Property (IP) management and commercialization.
    • Experience specifically within Healthcare and Agricultural applications.

Job Description (Roles & Responsibilities)

  • Design and execute Research Translational projects and protocols for different DIA projects across healthcare and agriculture.
  • Perform experiments, collect data, analyze results, and maintain accurate records of all experiments for reporting authorities.
  • Conduct literature reviews as required by project mandates.
  • Participate actively in project meetings, seminars, and laboratory activities.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality regarding project workflows and intellectual property.
  • Prepare detailed progress reports, presentations, and articles for the reporting authority.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with a larger team of professionals at DIA and C-CAMP.
  • Undertake relevant training on additional techniques required for project execution and subsequently train other team members.
