Two (2) Postdoctoral Researcher Positions: The Neurogenetics and Aging research group at IMBB, under the framework of the Action “Basic Research Financing (Horizontal support for all Sciences), National Recovery and Resilience Plan (Greece 2.0)” funded by HFRI, invites applications for two postdoctoral researcher positions. The focus is on behavioral and mechanistic studies during neurodegeneration and aging upon photostimulation in the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- BSc and PhD in Biology/Biomedicine or related fields
- Experience in molecular/cellular biology methods and modern microscopy techniques
- Prior experience in ageing, glia/neurobiology, chemo/optogenetics (preferred)
- Excellent scientific authoring skills with publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Fluency in English
Job Description: Conduct behavioral and mechanistic studies during neurodegeneration and aging in Caenorhabditis elegans upon photostimulation. The successful candidate will actively contribute to the GliaAge project.
