Scholarship Description:
The project aims to investigate the mechanisms of parental coordination in birds, examining both ultimate and proximate components. Ph.D. #1 will explore coordination patterns across species, with a focus on the little auk, while Ph.D. #2 will examine endocrine mechanisms of parental care, also using the little auk as a model species.
Eligibility:
- M.Sc. degree in biology, ecology, or similar sciences
- Proficiency in English
- Experience in statistical analyses (especially for Ph.D. #1)
- Good conduct
- Fluency in English
- Experience in statistical analyses and motivation to improve
- High ethical standards, reliability, precision, and persistence in work
- Cooperative attitude and inclusive approach in social interactions
