Two PhD Positions in Molecular Biology: The Oses-Ruiz lab at the Institute for Multidisciplinary Research in Applied Biology (IMAB) at the Public University of Navarre (UPNA) is offering two fully funded PhD positions. The candidates will join the European Research Council (ERC) Starting Grant project, CELL-ENEITY, which aims to explore molecular mechanisms of cellular heterogeneity and cell cycle control in the rice blast fungus Magnaporthe oryzae.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- MSc in Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Plant Pathology, Biochemistry, or related fields.
- Experience in molecular biology (experience with fungi, bacteria, or plants is advantageous).
- Bioinformatics experience is desirable.
- Ability to work independently within a team.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and oral).
- Highly motivated and driven individuals.
Job Description:
The selected candidates will work on the CELL-ENEITY project, investigating the underlying molecular mechanisms of cellular heterogeneity and cell cycle control in the rice blast fungus Magnaporthe oryzae. The project offers an excellent opportunity to work within the multidisciplinary environment of IMAB, which supports career development through networking activities, seminars, and specialized courses.
