Eligibility/Qualification:
- For Post 1: PhD in Biophysics or related field, experience in biological single-molecule imaging, scientific programming, and data analysis.
- For Post 2: PhD in Microbiology or related field, experience in DNA biochemistry, protein-DNA interactions, and quantitative cell imaging.
Job Descriptions:
Post 1 (Single-Molecule Imaging of Bacterial Gene Expression):
- Develop and apply novel single-molecule and super-resolution imaging methods.
- Analyze data related to transcription proteins in living bacteria.
- Understand physical aspects regulating transcription.
Post 2 (Single-Cell Microbiology of Bacterial Gene Expression):
- Prepare recombinant bacterial strains for in vivo single-molecule imaging.
- Utilize super-resolution microscopy to explore real-time transcription kinetics and spatial organization.
