Two tenure track Assistant Professor: The Department of Biology at UNC Chapel Hill is seeking two tenure-track Assistant Professors specializing in genomics-informed methods to study critical questions in Plant and Microbial Biology. The positions are open for consideration in both Host-Microbe Interactions and Plant Signaling research areas. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to collaborate with various units at UNC and in the Research Triangle Park region.

- Developing a nationally recognized and externally funded research program
- Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in biological sciences
- Advising and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students
- Engaging in departmental, university, and professional service
- Conducting research in Host-Microbe Interactions or Plant Signaling
