Job Description:
As a University Assistant (Post-Doc), you will engage in pioneering research, focusing on the utilization of knowledge graphs and graph technologies to enhance data analysis and accessibility. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting research and publishing findings in databases, data and knowledge engineering, and machine learning.
- Independently tackling scientific challenges with a goal-oriented approach.
- Teaching and supervising students, contributing to their academic growth.
- Leading project groups and participating in organizational tasks within the research division and faculty.
Your Profile:
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
- A completed doctorate in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in data management with a strong background.
- Expertise in areas such as knowledge graphs, data integration, data quality, and exploratory analytics.
- Demonstrated publication record in top-tier conferences and journals.
- Strong programming skills and experience with research prototype development.
- Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary projects.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in German (B2 level) preferred.
