Research Area
The research area focuses on Deep Learning Variational Monte Carlo, identifying and addressing questions in deep learning variational Monte Carlo methods, as well as developing analytical, numerical, or data-based methods in the field of mathematical data science.
Eligibility/Qualification
- Completed doctorate in mathematics or a related field before the start of the contract.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Machine Learning, Computational Chemistry.
- Demonstrated research competence, shown through international publications.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Strong social and communication skills, with a high motivation for scientific excellence.
Job Description
As a University Assistant Postdoc, you will:
- Actively participate in research, teaching, and administration within the faculty.
- Collaborate on research projects concerning Deep Learning Variational Monte Carlo methods.
- Develop innovative methods for computing properties of molecules and materials.
- Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration and attend international research conferences.
- Conduct independent teaching and administration, supervise students, and hold courses/examinations as per collective agreement provisions.
