Eligibility/Qualification:
- Completed doctoral studies in biotechnology, microbiology, biochemistry, or comparable fields.
- Independent publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
- Teaching experience.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
Desired Qualifications:
- Teaching experience in environmental biotechnology, resistome, and microbiome research.
- In-depth knowledge of microbiome analysis and the evaluation of DNA, RNA, protein, and metabolite data sets.
- Proven experience in international and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Successful acquisition of third-party funding, grants, or similar.
- Knowledge of German is an advantage.
Job Description:
- Participate in research projects within the Institute’s existing areas of microbiome research and environmental biotechnology.
- Acquire third-party funded projects.
- Teach in the Bachelor program in chemistry and Master programs, particularly in biotechnology, molecular microbiology, and plant sciences.
- Supervise students in laboratory settings.

Compensation:
An annual gross salary of at least โฌ69,060.59 for a full-time position; overpayment based on qualifications and experience is possible.
