Eligibility/Qualification

  • Completed doctoral/PhD studies in Computer Science, Computational Science, Cheminformatics, Bioinformatics, Chemistry, or a related field, or expect to complete them in the near future.
  • Established experience in modern machine learning and artificial intelligence.
  • Proven research competence demonstrated by international publications in reputable conferences or journals.
  • Ideally, competency in chemistry, specifically pharmaceutical chemistry.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills evidenced by high-quality academic writing.
  • Experience in research management and supervision.
  • Strong social and communicative skills.

Job Description

As a postdoctoral researcher, you will:

  • Develop an independent research profile in artificial intelligence and machine learning within the drug discovery domain.
  • Assume a leadership role in the research and management of the COMP3D group, including overseeing high-performance computing resources.
  • Supervise research conducted by master’s and doctoral students.
  • Contribute to the teaching activities of the department.
  • Engage with colleagues from adjacent fields and collaborate on interdisciplinary research projects.
  • Publish internationally and present research findings at conferences.
  • Apply for projects and raise third-party funding.
