Eligibility/Qualification
- Completed doctoral/PhD studies in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemoinformatics, Computer Science, Computational Science, or a related field, or imminent completion of these studies.
- Established experience in chemoinformatics and computer-aided molecular design.
- Proven research competence and initiative through international publications in reputable conferences or journals.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills; capacity to teach in German is a strong plus.
- Experience in research management and supervision.
- Strong social and communicative skills.
Job Description
As a postdoctoral researcher, you will:
- Develop an independent research profile in chemoinformatics and computer-aided molecular design related to drug discovery.
- Lead and guide multidisciplinary projects in hit identification, hit-to-lead, and lead optimization.
- Play a key role in the research and management of the COMP3D group.
- Supervise research conducted by master’s and doctoral students.
- Contribute to teaching activities within the department.
- Publish research findings internationally and deliver presentations.
- Apply for projects and raise third-party funding.
